This week on Solvable Mysteries we discuss the troubling disappearance and murder of Laci Peterson in 2002, which was ultimately attributed to her adulterous husband, Scott Peterson, who turned out to be far more dangerous and sinister than he appeared to those he knew, even those closest to him.  Scott appeared to be a handsome, loving husband, but instead proved fatal, destroying the life he had built while deceiving everyone around him.



Welcome to Solvable Mysteries Podcast, hosted by Juras Šimkus and co-hosted by Glenn Highcove.  During this episode we discuss the troubling mysteries of the sociopathic mind of Scott Peterson, who coldly and callously murdered his own wife and unborn son in December of 2002.  Laci and Scott appeared to have an ideal marriage and a bright future ahead of them, but Scott's secret double life of adultery and sociopathic tendencies ripped both of their futures to threads.  Laci and their unborn son, Conner, would eventually turn up murdered, dumped into a San Francisco lagoon to rot, while Scott would be sentenced to lethal injection at the end of an investigation and damning trial.  We discuss the facts of the case, examine why a man would ever do something like this, and explore the background of an individual much reviled in the state of California and the nation as a cold-blooded, foolish murderer who didn't realize how much he had to lose, and how much he took from other families, including his own.
