What Happened to Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon ? This week on Solvable Mysteries we revisit one of our most controversial cold case, the disappearance of Dutch tourists Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon, whose disappearance and presumed deaths after a mystery hike on the Pianista Trail in Panama in 2014 have become a source of fascination for many around the world. Their phones and cameras tell a story of two women in distress and possibly lost in the jungle, yet there are still many outstanding questions about what happened to them in the several days between April 1st and April 11th, and what their fate was.

The cold case of the disappearance o f Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon is one that has fascinated the internet worldwide, with many YouTube videos, blogs, and even a subreddit dedicated to discussing and unraveling the mysteries of their disappearance and presumed deaths.  Theories abound, and the amount of evidence to consider is overwhelming.  In our second episode on this topic, we return to the case to thoroughly review the existing evidence and what the analysis by experts and mystery fans alike has shown. We do so in order to set the stage for our third episode, part II of this series, where we review the many comments and theories from our show fans and from bloggers online to unravel the mystery and cold case of Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon.
