Christi & Alex sit down to a glass of glorious red that hails from the "Island of the Long Cloud".

New Zealand is world renowned for making a  killer Sauvignon Blanc, ripping with acidity, full of fruit & lemon zest- but a climate that produces one great wine can also be the home to several others!

Surprisingly, and slowly growing on the world wine consciousness, this amazing country also creates some of the greatest red wines the world has ever seen! Soil untouched for millions of years gives birth to grapes unlike any other, giving winemakers the raw material to create something palate shatteringly unique.

What have they got in their glass this week?

Craggy Range 'Te Muna Road Vineyard' Pinot Noir 2016
Te Muna Road Vineyard, Martinborough, New Zealand
100% Pinot Noir
13.8% abc
$41.99 average price

Winemaker Tasting Notes
Dark cherry with a crimson hue. Dark aromatics with notes of ripe cherry, sage, dried bark and thyme emerging. Wonderful integration of ripe red fruits and velvety tannins across the palate. It has great density yet carries a very elegant feel as it flows towards the savoury dry finish.
