Even successful people have experienced feelings associated with imposter syndrome. Whether you have it or know someone else who does, there are actionable strategies to overcome it. In this week's episode, let's talk about overcoming the imposter syndrome in your coaching business.

Part One of ‘Overcoming the Imposter Syndrome in Your Coaching Business’

First of all, you must understand what imposter syndrome is all about so you can strategize better on how you can overcome it. It's a term used to describe the psychological phenomenon of intense feelings of self-doubt to the extent where people feel like a fraud, either in their personal or professional lives, though it's most frequently the latter.

If you're experiencing a roller coaster of emotions linked to it, I highly encourage you. It's something that YOU HAVE THE POWER TO OVERCOME!

We can stand more fiercely in our power, in our truth. We can be that bold leader that is showing up, acting, and speaking our truth, not just making it up and copying what someone else is doing. The world needs more innovators and game-changers. So, if this is something that resonates with you, then you're in the right place. Keep reading.

I wonder how many people globally are experiencing imposter syndrome. You're probably here because there's something that you're holding yourself back from. Whether in your personal life, business relationships, personal development, or health, you know that all of these pieces are interconnected.

If one is being held back, you're not fully breathing into that expanded version of possibilities. I can guarantee you other areas of your life are also being damaged and being held back in this stagnant place. That's why it's essential to move past imposture, beliefs, and blocks that could be coming up while you're reaching your new level of identity and leadership.

I was once lost and asked myself, "I'm an artist. I'm a healer. How am I coach?" It was something that held me back for a long time when I wasn't able to fully claim who I was in the world, what my services were and how I wanted to show up. But I've discovered that the first thing you need to do when the imposter syndrome comes up is simply recognizing it and experiencing it. Feel how it is holding you back.

I do see a lot of people copying others out there. This is your time to do that reality check and get real with yourself. If there are pieces of you that you're copying or trying to portray someone else's identity, ask yourself, "Where am I not trusting my unique vision of what I want to be putting out into the world?" Trusting your voice will give you a more powerful answer so you can keep moving forward.

Part Two of ‘Overcoming the Imposter Syndrome in Your Coaching Business’

Once you've recognized the imposter syndrome, choose an aligned action that lets you stand in your truth, and not the extra garbage or other identities that don't serve you. How do you move purely into your next level of leadership?

Celebrate your authentic voice. When you do that, it opens up an opportunity for other people to say, "I see you, and I also feel like you see me." That would then lead you to attract more clients. So, continue to nurture yourself, your business, your voice, your healing, your growth, your perspectives, and even get new perspectives to see so that you can live in the highest version of yourself. That's where the full circle comes into play because you get to release comparison, release judgment on yourself, and also from others.

“There's no one else out there in the world that can say what you have to say.” - Rae Irelan (08:49-08:54)

Take time to nurture your business, your voice, your healing, your growth, your perspectives, and even get new perspectives to see, so you can live in the highest version of yourself. That's where the full circle comes into play because you get to release comparison, release judgment on yourself, and also from others.

Even if someone calls you fake or throws any negative comments against you, you won't get affected because you know where your truth is, where your authenticity is, where congruence is throughout your life, your business, and your values. Take a look at the bright side. It could be there to test you every time that you step to a new level of leadership.

I am so excited to witness anyone reading this to emerge into their real identity and release that ego and imposter syndrome. You are here on earth to serve others. People are waiting for you, love. Don't make them wait any longer. This is your time to rise!
