The Sound Chaser Progressive Rock Podcast returns. The musical selections come from far and wide. There was a time when radio played a large variety of music, and one could find the new, unusual, interesting sounds by tuning into a favorite station or dj, or just by turning the dial until something interesting came out of the speaker. Today's homogenization of music on radio and across the major media creates the need for people on their own to become programmers and producers and to use the tools of digital technology to bust a few holes in this boring bubble. Sound Chaser is one of many podcasts and internet radio programs providing an alternative to the mindless corporate so-called music on the major media. I am very glad that you have chosen to join me in celebrating something better. On the show this time, we have prog rock, fusion, electronic prog, world fusion, British folk, and more. There's an In Memoriam segment for the recent deaths of two members of Uriah Heep. The Symphonic Zone features a really big suite. All that plus news of concerts and releases on Sound Chaser.
