Rick Dancer is best known for his long career on local television news as an award winning anchor in the Eugene/Springfield area. Dancer had a brief stint in politics with a 2008 run for Secretary of State (on the Republican ticket) where he was narrowly defeated by future Oregon Governor Kate Brown. Currently he spends his time hitting the streets with a live broadcast on both Facebook and Instagram in which he familiarizes the local audience to its surroundings with an unmatched pizzaz. The often heartfelt broadcasts range from topics of personal struggle to controversial. Dancer has a knack of finding real people with real stories and truly giving them a voice and provoking action. His work has garnered respect from people in all walks of life and its is a tremendous honor to have him as a guest on the podcast.
