Zach Bessett joins the podcast to discuss the positive changes made in Springfield, Oregon with the Springfield school district and much more. Bessett was elected to the school board in May 2017. He has been a resident of Springfield for more than 30 years and is a 2000 Springfield High School graduate. Having a teaching degree from Northwest Christian University himself, he is enthusiastic about helping create endless possibilities for our community's youth. He currently works as a sports and recreation coordinator at Willamalane, is a chair for the Springfield School Board, and is heavily involved with coordinating the middle school dances held at the Willamalane Bob Keefer Center
