Until a person is ready, it's all just a bunch of words, right?

When you are giving advice, make sure that you disconnect your ego from that advice and give the person you are helping the gift of either taking your advice or leaving it. That person knows what is going on in their own life - and likely treasures the tidbits of wisdom you are sharing and the AHA moments that are resulting. Don't worry if the person doesn't follow your advice to a T, be happy that person reached out for your advice to begin with.
