161. The Truth Will Set You Free - a podcast by Renee LaVallee McKenna, MA, CCH

There is a spiritual principle that "the truth will set us free." The shadow aspect of this principle is that we are as sick as our secrets. Renee talks about her experiences with drug addiction and alcoholism, shop lifting and dating married men, and how learning to tell the truth completely changed the course of her life.  Like walking a spiral staircase, we can revisit our perspectives on ourselves and our experiences over and over as we grow and mature. These changing perspectives point to the idea that even the truth is relative and needs to be examined and re-examined over time.
