Hair is like the fine thread like strands growing from the skin of humans. Hair forms the coat of the most mamals or covers the human head. There are three types of human hair, Terminal, Vellus and Lanugo. The diameter of human hair is 0.06 to 0.08 which is considered as normal. Diameter of thick hair is almost 0.08 to 0.1 mm.
