Leader of the United Democratic Movement (UDM) General Bantu Holomisa responded to EFF spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi's comments that the Springboks "entrenched white supremacy in the South African society".

Holomisa, who was a right wing in his rugby playing days, said the black players in the World Cup-winning Springbok team were there on merit and that the coaching staff the coaching staff assembled a good squad and that they "deserved a Bell's."
