‘I give you a new commandment,’ says the Lord, ‘that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.’

HYMN CP 305 - https://hymnary.org/media/fetch/136342
I COME with joy, a child of God,
forgiven, loved and free,
the life of Jesus to recall,
in love laid down for me.

Collect
God, our Father
your Son revealed his love
by giving us this supper
to celebrate the new and eternal sacrifice:
may he nourish us by his presence
and unity us in his love;
who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit
one God, now and for ever.

Hymn
Brother, sister, let me serve you;
let me be as Christ to you;
pray that I may have the grace to
let you be my servant too.
As Christ stooped to wash their feet
The disciples were surprised
Peter reprimanded Jesus
Had to learn the Saviour’s way.

Washing of the Feet

Lord, you have declared your will
That we should faithfully keep your commandments
You have commanded us to love one another
As you have loved us
In your mercy we ask you to hear our prayer
That you most loving Lord stooped to wash the feet of your disciples:
Accept this our act of obedience and humble service
Wash us clean from all sin
And teach us to serve you in the least of our sisters and brothers
To the glory of the Father
Who live and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit
One God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer in the time COVID-19
AUTHOR OF LIFE
HEALER OF THE NATIONS
GRANT US COURAGE TO FACE OUR TRIAL
WISDOM TO FIND RELIEF
FAITH TO LIVE RESPONSIBLY
AND GRANT US YOUR SALVATION
FOR JESUS CHRIST SAKE
AMEN

Prayer of Approach
Almighty and everlasting God
we approach the sacrament
of your only begotten Son
our Lord Jesus Christ;
as sick, we come to the physician of Life;
as unclean, to the fountain of mercy;
as blind, to the light of eternal splendour;
as needy, to the Lord of heaven and earth;
as naked, to the King of glory.

Our Father in heaven
Grant, O Lord Jesus Christ, that as the hem of your garment, touched in faith, healed the woman who could not touch your Body, so the soul of your servants in every home in the Parish may be healed by like faith in you, Whom I cannot now sacramentally receive; through your tender mercy, Who lives and reigns with the Father in the unity of the Holy Ghost ever one God.--Amen.
Soul of Christ, sanctify me
Body of Christ, save me
Blood of Christ, refresh me
Water from the side of Christ, wash me
Passion of Christ, strengthen me
O good Jesus, hear me
Within thy wounds hide me
Permit me not to be separated from you
From the malicious enemy defend me
At the hour of my death call me
And bid me come to you
That with your saints I may praise thee
For ever and ever. Amen.
