COLLECT
Lord of the feast,
you invite everyone to your banquet:
keep from us all that distracts us
and stir in us the desire
to respond with gladness;
through Jesus Christ our Lord;
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and forever. Amen.

PRAYER AT THE TIME OF COVID-19

AUTHOR OF LIFE,
HEALER OF THE NATIONS;
GRANT US COURAGE TO FACE OUR TRIAL,
GIVE US WISDOM TO FIND RELIEF, GIVE US FAITH TO BE RESPONSIBLE
AND GRANT US YOUR SALVATION
FOR JESUS CHRIST’S SAKE. AMEN

Go now, rejoicing always in the Lord.
Stand firm in Jesus Christ and be of one mind in him.
Always act with justice;
let your gentleness be known to everyone,
and yield up your worries on the altar of prayer.

And may God give you peace that passes all understanding;
May Christ Jesus guard your hearts and minds;
And may the Holy Spirit plant within you all that is honourable, just and pure.
