11th Sunday after Pentecost

Collect
God of the foreigner and the outcast,
no one is excluded from your embrace:
inspire us so to love the world
that all will live in the dignity and security
of belonging in God’s family;
through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and forever.
Amen.

First Reading
Romans 11:1-2a,29-32

Gospel
Listen to the Good News proclaimed by Matthew 15:21-28

Commission and Blessing
May God be gracious to us
and bless us.
May God’s face shine upon us
as we go out from here
to make God’s ways known upon the earth
to praise God in our homes and in our streets
to bring God’s gladness and joy
to our nations and neighbours.
And so, may the blessing of God Almighty,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
be with us all,
now and forevermore,
Amen

Now go into the world with confidence, trusting that Christ is walking with you.
In the name of Christ. Amen.
