If you missed part 1 of the episode and the prank pulled on Kate, check it out!

We pick up the competitive swimming discussion with Erik Richardson, Assistant Coach for Men's and Women's Swimming at Olivet College in Olivet, Michigan.  In this week's episode, we talk about Tokyo 2020 still being Tokyo 2020 in 2021, why epic moments in Olympic swimming like Michael Phelps eight gold medals in the 2008 Bejing games.

Erik also worked at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and has seen many of these swimmers up close and personal during training and heard some of the legendary coaches like Bob Bowman coach his swimmers while being paid on the job.

We also get into a discussion about how it's funny that lifeguards are on duty for Olympic swimmers practicing and competing, but water safety is a very serious issue with thousands of people drowning or nearly drowning every year.  Living in the south where almost everyone has a pool it's very easy for kids to sneak away and accidentally fall in or have a medical emergency in the pool, so make sure you and your kids take appropriate swimming lessons and have tarps and gates in place so drowning accidents do not occur.

We close out the show trading stories about the antics of high school and college which helped Kate understand more of why D.J. is the way he is.
