First Liberty Institute has assembled a basic set of guidelines for Pastors, religious leaders and Constitutionally committed citizens regarding the increasing levels of mandates coming from State or Federal Government officials concerning the Coronavirus. Does the state (federal or state governments) possess the Constitutional authority to limit peaceful assembly such as church gatherings?

In First Liberty’s guideline it states: Temporary, evenly applied restrictions may be permissible. Is there any limit to how long ‘temporary’ can be? Is there any restriction on the size of the assembly?
