One of the beautiful things about Billy Graham’s legacy is that he was well known for keeping himself from the appearance of evil and keeping away from putting himself in a compromising situation when it came to how he did not meet with women alone. He usually had his friend and ministry helper Cliff Barrows, with him wherever he went. Other well-known men sometimes follow this rule and it has become known as the “Billy Graham Rule.” Our own American Pastors Network president Sam Rohrer has also followed that same rule even when he was in the PA State Assembly for almost 20 years. Why is it important for pastors and all Christians in America to be especially careful of their personal testimonies at this time in our nation’s history?
