One of God’s requirements for prayer starts with a sobering statement in Ps 66:18, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, God will not hear me.” This says that if people come to God with unconfessed sin in my heart or a refusal to be seeking to obey fully God’s Word that He won’t even hear the prayer.
