Maximus gazed out across the Zarek Dunes. He had heard rumors of abandoned mines filled with valuable tech, and he was determined to find them. As a scavenger, he lived for the thrill of the hunt and the rush of discovery.



For days he wandered the dunes, living off his supplies and sleeping in caves to avoid the scorching sun. But his persistence paid off when he stumbled upon a salar - a desert lake dotted with abandoned equipment. Excited, he began to search for anything useful.



He found old drills, pipes, and containers, and then a discarded drilling rig. But as he scavenged, a security drone spotted him. Maximus grabbed what he could and ran across the salar, the drone hot on his heels.



But Maximus was quick and spotted a hidden tunnel. He ducked inside and made his way through the dark passageway, the drone unable to follow. Safely on the other side, he sold the equipment for a profit.



Vowing never to return to the forbidden dunes, Maximus knew deep down that the lure of valuable tech and the thrill of adventure would bring him back. He was a scavenger, and the rewards were too great to resist.
