Hockey talk with NHL Historian/Author Liam Maguire and Go Hockey Media's Paul C. Cuthbert. Step up to the bar and let's talk some hockey! It's time for Sticks and Taps.

Today the lads recap last night's Habs and Bruins game, discuss the Chara cross-check on Gallagher and weigh in on the identity of the Canadiens and the different directions top teams take to be succesful, past and present. The guys then acknowledge the Sedin brothers being raised to the rafters in Vancouver, their path to the Hockey Hall of Fame and then touch on a wide group of numbers that have been and will be retired this season with nods to Chris Phillips in Ottawa and John Tonelli and Butch Goring on Long Island.

The guys wrap it up with a take on the NHL returning to the Olympics after word the IIHF and Olympic Federation may make concessions to the NHL. Liam and Paul close the bar with a "Toast of the Week" to Henrik and Daniel Sedin and to St. Louis Blues defenseman Jay Bouwmeester on a speedy recovery after collapsing in his game against the Anaheim Ducks.
