Podcasts by Stories Around the Table
After we shared our story in written form in May 2017, we wanted to expand our audience by turning it into a podcast. We decided to split our story into three separate episodes: Entering the System, Dealing with the System, and Surviving the System. At the end of each episode we have our roundtable discussions, where we [the Junket Crew] compare our own experiences in the foster care system with what the character in our story goes through. Through our podcast, we hope to shine more light on the realities of being in foster care and how those listening can participate in the system as a supporting role for those in care.
