Hello to you Marilyn Wyzga listening in Hancock, New Hampshire!

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Motivate Your Monday and your host, Diane Wyzga.

The other day I was thinking about a time when I had fallen into a deep creative rut. No, not a rut, a ditch. Not a ditch, a gully. Not even a gully but a steep, deep ravine, a canyon, an abyss! Have you ever tried to climb your way out of an abyss? Even a creative one? Can’t do it. There I was with no way out.

No one heard me call. No cell phone access. No one to help me. No options, solutions, or ideas.

Just then I heard my name being called and way above me I saw the face of my friend. Hey, I’m down here, can you help me out? Something fell alongside me. When I looked up I saw it was my friend. What the heck did you just do? Now we’re both in this abyss! Yeah, says my friend! But I’ve been down here before and I know the way out.

Question: Who has helped you find your way out? Take a moment to let them know you still remember their generosity.
