Hello and Happy Birthday to Patrice Kealy listening in Castine, Maine

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Motivate Your Monday and your host, Diane Wyzga.

This is episode number 702. I have produced one episode a day, five episodes a week, 702 episodes over 2.5 years. Do I have what it takes to keep going, even a little?

I am reminded of walking to Zubiri on the Camino de Santigao. It was a very long, hot, rocky trek. What kept me going? A Korean man who spoke no English but sang O Solo Mio as we walked. A French woman who laughed at the drying clothes pinned to the outside of my pack and said she should do some shopping while walking. A local woman who spoke no English but said “poco” meaning it was just a short distance to go.

The necessity of these times is for us to look back in wonder and fall on our knees in gratitude for all the help from all the places and all the persons who - unbeknownst to us - are conspiring on our behalf.

Question: How do you keep on going?
