Hello to you listening in Lidingö, Sweden!

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday and your host, Diane Wyzga.

What is vocation? The word vocation derives from many sources but each source says the same thing: a vocation is a calling, an invitation to pursue a task. It could be your life’s work, your mission, or the reason why you are taking up 3 square feet of ground on this Earth.

Frederick Buechner said, “...it’s the place where your deep gladness meets the world’s deep need."

It might feel daunting for some us: the time it takes to find and claim that true self, he truest calling. It’s only natural to try on the selves of other people; but at the end of the day the question still remains: What did you come here to be and do?

Story Prompt: Who are you when you are your truest self? Where does your deep gladness meet the world’s deep need? Write that story!

Practical Tip: The magic of stories is also in the sharing. If you wish share your story with someone or something.   All that matters is you have a story.

You’re invited: “Come for the stories - stay for the magic!” Speaking of magic, would you subscribe, share a 5-star rating + nice review on your social media or podcast channel of choice, and join us next time!
