Hello to you listening in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada!

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday.

I’m contemplating the Art of Alone Time. I’ve been alone much of my life; but the older I grow the more I contemplate the mystery and majesty of Alone Time in a way I’ve not been seasoned enough to fully appreciate earlier on.

Listen to Winter’s Promise by Andrew Wyeth:

Winter’s Promise

I do an awful lot of thinking and dreaming about things in the past and the future…

the timelessness of the rocks and the hills... all the people who have existed there.

I prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure of the landscape,

the loneliness of it, the dead feeling of winter. Something waits beneath it,

the whole story doesn’t show.” –Andrew Wyeth

Story Prompt: What is your older, wiser, more curious self contemplating these days? Write that story!

Practical Tip: The magic of stories is also in the sharing. If you wish share your story with someone or something.   All that matters is you have a story.

60 Seconds is your daily dose of hope, imagination, wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that. This is the place to thrive together. Come for the stories - stay for the magic.
