Growing up in a family of 9 I remember a never-ending stack of dishes, cups, bowls and silverware to wash and dry. There was also the never-ending whining about whose job it was to clean the dishes. Eventually our parents caved and bought a dishwasher.

Did you know there is a right way and a wrong way to stack items in a dishwasher? Who knew? Dishes face this way, cups face that way, silverware goes like so. Each person had their own system doing it all differently. I imagine that scenarios like this go on in most homes and work places.

But different does not mean wrong! “Don’t ever think that just because you do things differently, you’re wrong.”  ~Gail Tsukiyama

Story Prompt: When have you done something differently only to be told it was wrong? What happened next? How does that experience show up in your personal or business life today? Write that story!
