Hello to you listening in Winterwsijk, Netherlands!

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories from Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Thoughts on Thursday and your host, Diane Wyzga.

It seems like yesterday we were celebrating the turn of the year. And here we are reaching the midpoint. Maybe this is a good time to reflect on measures of success beyond goals, clients, contracts, income, likes, and so on.

Perhaps we can ask ourselves: who did I lift up, set free from their negative thoughts, invite to join in the circle? What did it feel like to take time out for a mindful walk, sit in stillness, write a real note to a friend, or even do something quite frivolous? How did my decision to set aside my self-centered, judgmental attitude make life a bit easier for someone else? When did I bear witness to another’s life?

And that’s the point, isn’t it? We are spiritual beings living a human existence and trying our best to walk ourselves and each other back home.

Question: As we move toward the halfway point what marks your truest success?
