Hello to you listening in Oregon City, Oregon!

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Thoughts on Thursday and your host, Diane Wyzga.

Trust is the gift someone offers to us when we have demonstrated that we are worthy of that trust. As a professional storyshaper helping clients find their story, I’m determined to provide a safe, trusted space to encourage their work. How does it come about?

I believe that we begin to demonstrate trustworthiness with curiosity, deep listening for the emotional meaning - not just facts - in conversation, and keen sensitivity to the careful process of engaging *with* people.

As we engage with those we want to know and nurture those relationships over time with kindness and integrity, some people will become friends, colleagues and clients.

When you market your skills and services to clients be aware of your particular values, mindset, and skill set. Whether you offer to fill a need, meet a desire, or relieve pain possessing sincere clarity about what you offer, to whom you offer it, and why it matters demonstrates that you know who you are and how you can help better their world.

Question: How do you demonstrate that you can be a trustworthy partner?

You’re invited: “Come for the stories - stay for the magic!” Speaking of magic, I hope you’ll subscribe, share a nice shout out on your social media or podcast channel of choice, and join us next time!
