Hello to you listening in Minneapolis, Minnesota!

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Time Out Tuesday and your host, Diane Wyzga.

On my bucket list of fun things to try is ice fishing. Imagine sitting in a little shack on a frozen body of water practicing to catch fish with a line through a hole in the ice.

I was thinking about this the other day as I was resisting yet another day of trials and tribulations wondering just when I’d catch a break from Life picking on me because it ain’t fair, it ain’t right.

Whether it’s fair or not Life is Life. When challenges mount up the best we can do for ourselves is to find a way to break through the ice of our resistance to catch the strength we have deep within us. Or, maybe we stop and feel some compassionate loving kindness for our good self who has handled so many challenges in the past and managed to prevail.

Question: When you have found yourself up against a difficult predicament that feels unfair, unjust how have you broken through to the strength you have to prevail again?
