Hello to you listening in Burlington, Washington!

Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Wednesdays on Whidbey and your host, Diane Wyzga.

I’ve been writing a few client case studies for my newly renovated Quarter Moon Story Arts consulting website. How does a case study differ from a testimonial. Testimonials are coach praise. Case studies are client proof.

Imagine that your client is Cinderella, the girl who sat in the ashes on the hearth but ended up married to the handsome prince and you are her Fairy Godmother coach telling the story of working together:

Cinderella was in a heap of sorry.

Fancy dress ball to be held at the palace.

No can go because she has no threads, no wheels, no confidence.

She wondered if a wave of my magic wand might help.

Yes. To a point.

We got her all dolled up in the latest haute couture, hair and make up like a celebrity, coach with driver and 6 white horses, plus, this lesson: get home by the last stroke of midnight .... or else.

Cindy went to the ball, danced with the handsome prince, forgot about the time, came home in rags.

HOWEVER (!) when the handsome prince came knocking on the kingdom doors looking for his one true love who had dropped her glass slipper at the ball, Cindy stepped up (no pun intended) and slid her pretty size 6 into that glass slipper and the rest, as they say, is mystery

Sure, I waved my magic wand but it was Cindy who wanted to go to the ball, make something different of her life, create her own magic.  All she had to do was decide and ask for a bit of help.”
