Maybe you know the story of how we came to have fireworks at this time of year in the first place. It’s all because of something called the “Gunpowder Plot” back in the year 1605 – that’s over 400 years ago!... A time when SOME people made plans to blow up the Houses of Parliament.  As plots go… Well.. It didn’t work out.  But this story isn’t about them anyway...
