We are hopelessly lost in our sins without grace. Whenever we have blown it, strayed from God's will, and are on the verge of shipwreck, we go back to grace. There is no other way to receive justification. Salvation begins with grace and ends with grace. The unmerited favor of God enables us to enter into His presence. Only a Christian life rooted in His Gospel is acceptable to God, and grace is the beginning of the journey.
