Come, Holy Spirit, and Deliver Us - a podcast by All Saints Jax

This Pentecost Sunday, the first Sunday when the doors of All Saints were open again for limited numbers, Fr. Donavan called on the Holy Spirit to deliver us during the current pain, struggle and division in our community and in our country. Reeling from the senseless murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis and over 100,000 dead from COVID-19, what can the People of God possibly do to promote reconciliation and hope in our world? Fr. Donavan believes we must begin by repenting and laying out our political divisions, racism, and fear at the foot of the cross. Only then can we return to God in Jesus Christ and, following the Holy Spirit, restore the opportunity for a rebirth of the church and the fulfillment of God’s Kingdom, on earth as it is in heaven, for all of the children of God.
