This Sunday, Fr. Donavan was down in the middle of congregation again, taking on some of the toughest passages from this Sunday’s portion of Jesus’ much-loved ‘Sermon on the Mount’ in Matthew’s Gospel. How can we, as regular human beings, ever fulfill Jesus’ expansion of the God’s laws given to Moses in the Torah? Maybe the answer is meant to come to us as Christians only when we realize we can’t without God’s amazing grace! (Epiphany 6; 2/16/20).
