Earth Day Healing Journey - a podcast by Sue Rose Minahan

April 22 celebrates Earth Day connecting events all around the globe, attracting people’s reverence for our planet. A day when humanity is motivated to nourish our planet natural world so to protect Earth, our home.

Initiated in 1970, this year celebrates Earth Day’s Chiron’s 50.5-year orbital cycle around the sun to return to its natal Chiron position at 8 degrees Aries. It represents a rite of passage as Chiron represents the Healing Journey. Chiron was a master teacher to the Gods but could not heal his wound inflicted by a poisonous arrow mistakenly striking him by Heracles. Chiron energy potentially migrates from the archetypal wounded healer to become an alchemist and shaman when using the experience of an unhealed wound through sharing its wisdom with others for their growth.

Service to others shifts the experience of its wounding limitation through providing purpose to others and in exchange, becoming a vehicle for the self as well.

Will Earth Day promote its connective reality for global environmental cooperation? We will look at the astrological charts to share possibilities. And ask if the Earth Day’s global participation might offer people a personal direction towards their internal dreams through its experience. Because we each have an individual search to develop a pathway in our personal healing journey.
