The Taurus New Moon energy on May 11 brought heart-valued loving compassion to connect with Jupiter’s shift into Pisces May 13th. Just as we’re starting to experience the “eclipse season” energies a few weeks ahead of the May 26 Total Lunar Eclipse at 5°25? Sagittarius. (A lunar eclipse is when the Full Moon is within 10-12 degrees of the Lunar nodes, which is the intersection of the moon and sun’s orbital path when the earth blocks the Sun’s light, preventing the sun’s light from reflecting upon the moon.)

“The Taurus Planet Buzz panel responds to our need to redefine words to express how we are feeling and so to understand our intentions by asking, ‘What am I trying to re-language?’ Because astrologically speaking, on May 13 Jupiter the sage teacher ruling planet of the Sagittarius south lunar node departs transiting Aquarius representing collective consciousness for a two plus month transit into Pisces representing collective unconsciousness,” said Sue Rose Minahan, host of the fascinating program.

So the lunar south node represents an area of past experience that’s well-developed and the lunar north node represents the new and polar opposite energy to promote our growth. The north node of Gemini’s ruled by Mercury of communication and serves to shift our perceptions bringing in new information. It happens too that currently Mercury’s orbital path is out-of-bounds beyond the limitations of being inside the sun’s orbital path. You could say the energies traverse independent thinking. But Mercury’s apparent 2nd retrograde of 2021 starts May 29 in its own sign of Gemini.

So both the rulers Jupiter and Mercury energies influence our rethinking a whole lot! Sagittarius is language. Gemini labels things. How we name things matters because ultimately it’s how we see life through our perceptual lens.
