On July 8, 2010, then 25 -year-old LeBron James (along with his newly formed production company) used ESPN to air a live television event to announce his intentions for playing the 2010-2011 season.  The ill-conceived idea was a major part of launching a new era of player empowerment.  However, there was nothing new about the bitter, gut-wrenching disappointment that had become all too familiar to Cleveland sports fans.  Rick Grayshock was one of those fans.  He was also the co-founder of a popular Ohio/Cleveland-based sports blog, WaitingForNextYear.com (WFNY.com to true fans of the site).  I was with Rick on the night of the decision, and I observed what you might expect in terms of the palpable and visible pain that he experienced as LeBron told the world, "I'll be taking my talents to South Beach...".  Rick and I sat down recently to revisit The Decision and its aftermath, including LeBron's eventual "reconciliation", and Cleveland's ultimate "redemption", 10 years after the sports landscape was changed forever.  Please enjoy my conversation with Rick Grayshock.
