Brett Norris grew up as the son of a coach.  He finished his high school career playing for the legendary Ray Etzler at Convoy Crestview.  After a college playing career at St. Francis (IN), he spent one year as the freshman coach before taking over as the head coach at Delphos St. John's High School.  After an amazing 10 year run with 3 trips to the state final four including a state title in 2002, Coach Norris left Delphos in 2005 and became the head coach at Hilliard Darby High School.  Following 6 years at Darby and a 3 year absence from the sidelines, he was hired at Hilliard Bradley in 2014.  The Jaguar basketball program has had spectacular success in the six years since.  An overall record of 134-19 with four consecutive undefeated seasons in conference play.  The 2019-2020 season was ended just a days after Coach Norris and his squad had earned a victory in the Regional tournament and they were slated to play for a trip to state final four.  Coach Norris shares his coaching journey, the difficulty of coping with an abrupt end to what could have been a dream season, and much more in today's episode.  Please enjoy my visit with Bret Norris of Hilliard Bradley High School.
