We always start our episodes with a feel-good story to create unity among the guests and the right mood for the question-of-the-day conversation.

This time, the story about JBJ Soul Foundation's initiative brought up by our co-host Maya-Mae engaged everyone in a 35 min stand-alone discussion about problems of homelessness in New York and beyond.

There are 57,341 homeless people, including 18,653 children, sleeping each night in the New York City municipal shelter system. New York City has more than 111,000 homeless students. Covid has only increased the size of the issue.

It just happened that our podcast guests are not only amazing human beings but in one way or another have been involved in community initiatives related to the homeless problem. And it is all started with talking it over in our Big Ole Bed. Now let's pull back the sheets...
