They have 3 brands: Express, Horton and Emerald.

The Express brand is more for the first time home buyer because it's more price and payment sensitive. These homes take about 5-6 months to build.

The Horton brand is for those consumers who want one that is more customized - their lot, their colors, etc. It usually takes about 6-7 months to construct.

Last is the Emerald brand which is their luxury brand. This would take about 9-10 months to construct.

For those who don't have the time to wait,DR Horton's goal in every community is to have at least 6-10 inventory homes. Some of them at some form of construction but are ready to go. Some you can close as quickly as you get your mortgage approved while others may take about 60-70 days.
