In Matthew 24:15, Jesus reveals that following the Seal Judgments, the Antichrist breaks the covenant with Israel and commits the Abomination of Desolation. The Abomination of Desolation includes abolishing God’s Law, outlawing the Sabbath and the Lord’s Feasts, desecrating the Temple, and declaring himself as god. What follows is a season of greatness. This greatness is not in the sense of fame or fortune but in the sense of immensity or magnitude. Jesus reveals in Matthew 24:16-28 that this season of greatness includes a great flight, a great tribulation, and a great deception. This season of greatness corresponds to the Tribulation’s second half.
