More than four hundred and fifty-six verses containing prophecies about the Messiah are written in the Hebrew Scriptures. Some verses contain more than one prophecy. During His First Advent, Jesus fulfilled three hundred of those prophecies. While time does not allow to cover all three hundred prophecies, it would behoove believers to consider some Messianic prophecies about what is commonly known as Christmas — the celebration of Christ’s birth.

As contemplation is given to Christmas in the Hebrew Scriptures, the threefold division of the Hebrew Scriptures will be followed. Hence, consideration will be given to Christmas in the Law, Christmas in the Writings, and Christmas in the Prophets. Christmas in the Law — the first five books of the Bible — focus upon four prophecies — the Seed of the Woman, the Seed of Abraham, the Scepter of Judah, and the Star of Jacob.
