:: ::

In verses twelve and thirteen, Jude now provides the accusations and judgment portion of the woe oracle. He identifies the defendants by the phrase these are the men. The phrase takes the readers back to verse eight — these men, also by dreaming, defile the flesh, and reject authority, and revile angelic authorities. These men are the certain person who crept in unnoticed. As previously noted these certain persons are false teachers.
These six accusations demonstrate the effect that false teachers have on the believing community. Jude ends his oracle with judgment — “for whom the black darkness has been reserved forever.” Jude exhorts believers, do not be like these men.
