Building upon the theme presented in the Good and Evil Slaves parable, Jesus presents the parable of the Ten Virgins in Matthew 25:1-13. In the Good and Evil Slaves parable, Jesus is the Master, and the Jewish people are His servants. His servants have one job: preaching God’s Law and the Gospel. During the Tribulation, good slaves or regenerated Jewish people will feed others with God’s Word. Instead of spreading God’s Word, the evil slaves or unregenerate Jewish people will mistreat their people and align themselves with those under the curse of God’s Judgment. In the Ten Virgins parable, Jesus foretells the judgment upon regenerate and unregenerate Jewish people at His coming.
