April 16th is a very sad but important day in Korea. 3 years ago on this day, the 476 people aboard the Sewol Ferry came face to face with an unimaginable disaster.
Despite the political landscape being rather divided of late, the circumstances of the Sewol Ferry Incident have brought people together in compassion and support as well as grief.
Our show of tribute and commemoration is for you. We know that it will neither change the past, nor will it return anything that has been lost to you, but we hope that it will provide some comfort in knowing that grief and condolences can be shared and burdens need not be suffered alone nor in silence.
We hope that hearing from others might help you out there fare better with your own struggles through loss. We each perceive and experience such events differently so we want to remind you that you are not alone.
