Today’s theme: “SUPER” Women

Upholding one of her presidential pledges, Shim Sang Jeong(???) said recently that she is still working hard to implement the ???? ??? (Superwoman Prevention Act). This act is set to cover various aspects of people’s lives - for both men and women - and is designed to dispel the myth of women as super creatures capable of achieving often insurmountable tasks.

Throughout history, the female experience has varied greatly, demonstrating vast swings from positions of power to subjection and back again. Past societies had women who were warriors, priestesses, and political leaders. Others, have seen them cast as an inferior and subservient counterpart to men. History is rarely as linear or progressive as we like to portray it and the ever-changing status of women gives weight to this idea.
