Today’s theme: E sports

E sports is expected to become a $1 billion advertising industry by 2021. This is going to be primarily driven by video with video - along with influencer marketing and sponsorship. Since the turn of the millennium, Esports has gone well and truly global. In 2000, the World Cyber Games and the Electronic Sports World Cup were both launched and these are major international annual tournaments still held today. It was in the 2000s that we really started to see a rise in big money prizes for competitors and teams and the growth of televised tournaments making it much closer to the industry we now know.

Ever since I was younger and I first started buying DVDs I loved commentary tracks.
You learn a lot about how they made the movie.
The Simpsons DVD releases actually had a commentary for every single episode.
But then in 2015 they stopped at season 17. And now they only release them digitally. With the rise of streaming there are less and less DVDs or blurays with commentary tracks.
