Amy Walters - Diamond Ridge Elementary - a podcast by KSL News Radio

This week's teacher feature award goes to Amy Walters of Diamond Ridge Elementary School in West Valley. Amy works with students who have mild to severe learning disabilities and who struggle with behavior. Amy says recognition doesn't happen very often in teaching, so the award means that much more to her. She just wants to make a difference in the children's lives.

Amy Walters receives a special recognition award from Zions Bank, an overnight stay at the Anniversary Inn, dinner for two at the Roof Restaurant downtown, and two season passes to the new Hale Center Theater. At the end of the year, one lucky teacher will win the lease of a new car provided by Burt Bros. Tire and Service.
