Cathy Bruner - Oak Hollow Elementary - a podcast by KSL News Radio

This week's teacher feature award goes to Cathy Bruner from Oak Hollow Elementary. Principal Julie Mootz nominated the second-grade teacher because she makes the students and new teachers feel like family including French students that are in a dual language learning program. She once considered a career in business, but 20 years later and she is still teaching.

Mrs. Bruner receives a special recognition award from Zions Bank, an overnight stay at the Anniversary Inn, dinner for two at the Roof Restaurant downtown, and two season passes to the new Hale Center Theater. At the end of the year, one lucky teacher will win the lease of a new car provided by Burt Bros. Tire and Service.
