Eric Jensen is a former teacher. He has authored over 26 books including Teaching with Poverty in Mind. Ruby K. Payne, Ph.D. is author of "Understanding Poverty" and a career educator. Nancy Blair is a school improvement consultant who frequently worked with the High Schools That Work and the Making Middle Grades Work initiatives. Nancy Flanagan is a retired teacher, with 31 years in the Hartland, Michigan schools. She is co-founder of the Network of Michigan Educators.
